Steven Schrock

Dr. Steve Schrock graduated from Goshen College with a degree in German and Molecular Biology. Thereafter, he attended the University of Cincinnati Medical School and completed a Family Medicine Residency at the University of Cincinnati Family Medicine Residency Program.

After finishing residency, he pursued interests in education and international medicine by completing a Faculty Development and Underserved Fellowship at the University of Cincinnati in 2005.

After completing fellowship, Dr. Schrock has provided care in Indiana as a family physician in inpatient, outpatient, and obstetrical settings. He also enjoys providing endoscopic care to patients in multiple settings. As time has permitted, he has also enjoyed providing care in international settings.

After returning to the greater South Bend area from his position as a program director of a large university family medicine residency program, he joined the SJRMC residency faculty as an adjunct faculty member in 2012 and as an Associate Director in 2014.

Dr. Schrock is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Medicine. His interests include finding ways to enhance resident and patient education via non-traditional, technology driven teaching methods. When not enjoying working with patients, residents and students, Dr. Schrock can be found playing softball or enjoying family life with his wife Kim, also a family physician, and two children.
