Michelle Herrmann

After completing my challenging yet rewarding residency year, I took a job at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN and worked there for 2 years. While at Deaconess, I was a clinical staff pharmacist and was part of the initiation of an outpatient oncology infusion center. I have since realized my passion for inpatient medicine and precepting students, and I am now an Adjunct Assistant Professor at UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy and serve as a Pharmacy Education Specialist at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, NC.

During my time at St. Joe, I was fortunate to rotate on many services, oversee resident medicine rounds, perform pharmacokinetic and nutrition pharmacy consults, actively participate in committee meetings, and develop great personal relationships. I feel that these experiences have prepared me well to excel in my current clinical and teaching roles. I am looking forward to building my clinical practice and enjoy all the exciting activities that the great state of North Carolina has to offer!
