Heidi Anksorus

As the second resident to complete the PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center (SJRMC), I really enjoyed my experience at SJRMC. I am grateful for the many opportunities to grow and develop as a new practitioner, not only professionally, but also personally.

Upon completion of the residency, I was offered a position with SJRMC, where I continued developing my practice working in various areas of SJRMC's pharmacy services. My experiences there made it possible for me to transition to my current role as Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy in the Division of Pharmacy Practice and Experiential Education. In addition, I spend one day each week at the University of North Carolina Hospital for my practice site.

SJRMC is a great organization filled with knowledgeable staff and clinicians, and I will forever be grateful to my SJRMC family!
